about

I couldn't find the roadside plaque near Tidioute, PA that marked the last place Tecumseh was seen

lyrics

if I could meet anybody from the big dead world of history I'd like to meet an Indian Chief I'd like to meet Tecumseh because I was born on Indian land along the foggy tunnels in the Ohio River Valley and I wish the one's before like the Shawnee still had their lives along the Allegheny well my friend came home the other day to talk about today's news rather heatedly and it makes me think about history and how it's not all it's cracked up to be if I could meet anybody I'm not going to think about history because I could still meet an Indian Chief and I could still meet Tecumseh because some spirits they never die
